About Ottisdotter Productions

 

Ottisdotter Productions formed in 2014, after a successful spell as and with Jump Cut Productions - the company behind the revival of Henrik Ibsen's Lady Inger in 2013.

 

Following a run of Gotthold Ephraim Lessing's Emilia Galotti in September 2014, Ottisdotter embarks upon its final journey with the last remaining Henrik Ibsen play never to have been performed in English; The Feast at Solhaug.

 

We are using an adapted version of William Archer and Mary Morrison's translation from 1907. We are using the script's original balladic form, and parts of the play are in song.
